Clouds Illusions and Horizon

Art at the Cave Gallery is pleased to present Clouds Illusions in the main space and Horizon in the Upper Gallery. Opening reception will be 4-8pm March 3, 2023 and the exhibition will run through March 31.

Clouds Illusions is inspired by Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now.  The artists are showing their interpretation of the lyrics and feel of the song. The gallery is full of clouds, and you can see them from both sides now. We mostly chose to look at the clouds in a way that shows hope and confidence about the future.

                                 I've looked at clouds from both sides now
                                 From up and down and still somehow
                                 It's cloud illusions I recall
                                 I really don't know clouds at all

Horizon is a solo show of Erin Dengerink's paintings and sculptures. There are a number of large works in the gallery with small and tiny works peppered in. The Upper gallery is filled with magical and melancholy images.
